Presenting
our fifth edition product book, now featuring updated products
that continue to be the quality and consistency that our
customers have come to appreciate over the years. Thank you to
all of our valued customers, employees and supportive vendors.
Know that you, our customer, are an extension of our business
and without you we would not exist. Employees, you are the glue
that keeps it all together, while the vendors are the oil in our
wheels. Business is truly a joint effort. We will continue to
provide the best possible service and combination of goods to
the best of our abilities. Big or small, we do appreciate your
business.
Our product
book is again dedicated to our daughter, Allison Barkyoumb. We
lost Allison, September 13th, 2002, at the age of 15,
due to complications after heart surgery. We will always strive
to make a difference on Allison’s behalf, living our lives in
the most positive, productive fashion, while prioritizing our
values of family, friends and good business. (It seems like the
good business has over taken the past year or two). We, along
with everyone else, need to make time for ourselves.
EarthAngelsorg.com, created and maintained by Allison’s closest
friends, Kayla Gennrich (studying film at RPI) and Sara Stowell
(also studying at RPI), has become a non-profit organization
over the past 6 plus years promoting organ and tissue donor
awareness. Kayla, Sara and the Earth Angels team still continue
to make a difference.
Julie
Gennrich, (one of the true founders of Earth Angels)
successfully owned and operated “The Alley Coffee House” located
in Milton, VT, another awesome tribute to Allison and Earth
Angels. It was a fantastic meeting place for you and ground
organization to get together, offering locally talented
musicians and artists a venue to display their gifts of life.
Take a
moment and log on to
www.EarthAngelsorg.com – you too can
make a difference. Perhaps for the memory of a special
person that has touched your life in a meaningful way.
Make each day count…who knows what tomorrow might bring…

Chris & Kim
Barkyoumb
Hillcrest was established
by the Reginald Barkyoumb family and operated as a poultry farm
for 33 years. In
1983 the egg business began to decline. Chris Barkyoumb (Reg’s son and current owner) began asking
restaurant owners, bakers and chefs what products they were
having difficulty sourcing.
He then traveled to Boston and began knocking on doors
looking for ways to expand the family business.
Hillcrest emerged into the nineties as a specialty
supplier to the bakery and foodservice industry.
In 1992 Hillcrest Trucking
& Storage was established to facilitate timely and
cost-efficient delivery to customers.
Our fleet delivers the bulk of Hillcrest Foods orders.
Hillcrest Foods continues a family
partnership with our customers and strives to strengthen
business relationships.
At Hillcrest we believe it is
important to preserve our personal touch, as every account we
service is special and important to us.
Bakery items and specialty ingredients continue to be our
primary focus. Product
quality and customer satisfaction continue to be our number one
priority. Our long-term goal is to maintain and develop business
relationships that are mutually beneficial.
Thank
you for choosing Hillcrest Foods as a primary source for your
foodservice needs. We
look forward to working with you.
